Meet Our Stylists

Welcome! I’m Cierra, I’ve lived in northern Kentucky for most of my life and currently serve the Newport community. Being in the salon makes me feel alive and comfortable all at once, which is why I have designed my salon experience so you can feel comfortable being yourself, have fun during your visit, and leave absolutely in love with your kick ass hair.

I’ve been a stylist for 15+ years and my passion for hair and my clients is still growing every day. I specialize in advanced blonding services, I absolute love blonding transformations! I continue to take blonding education each year to continue growing my skills and knowledge and deliver precision services. Creating and maintaining blonde masterpieces is what keeps my passion for hair alive and growing.

After becoming a mom of two amazing kiddos who had some obstacles to overcome when it comes to receiving haircuts, I discovered that some kids’ haircuts had to be approached differently. Over the past 8 years I have been fine tuning my approach to haircuts for children with phobias and special needs. It has been a surprising but absolutely amazing adventure in my career to see children go from not being able to receive a haircut to being able to receive fully independent haircuts.

While many stylists offer a great first visit and maintenance visits afterwards, I view each relationship with my clients and their hair as a journey we take together. I work with each of my clients to achieve their desired looks, ensure they are armed with the proper instructions and supplies needed to care for their hair at home, and keep their hair always looking on point. Which is why I continue to send education through blogs, social media posts, email, and making myself available to answer questions when they arise outside of the salon.

When I’m not in the salon you can often find me around the city attending local events, going to concerts, shopping in small shops, spending (probably too much) time in coffee shops around town, and at parks. I’m always out and about so feel free to say hi if you see me! I love catching up with clients anytime! One of my absolute favorite past times is having random dance parties with my kiddos. Most people don’t know that my customized playlists for the salon are often inspired by these dance parties.

Julie has a passion for all things hair, she began her hair journey in 2019, is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School, and is dually licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky. She is trained in both men and women’s haircutting techniques, and loves performing color and blonding services.
